Bad, Bad Jim

What makes you a bad person?

Is it that you’re an absolute bad person all the time, or is it that you might commit one bad act?

If you commit one bad act, then are you automatically a bad person overall, or can you redeem yourself.  Maybe you can perform a restitution to make good your one 1 bad transgression.

HHmmmmmmmm …..

I had to drive across town one morning and on the way back I was stopped at an intersection waiting for a car to make a left and also for a pedestrian crossing the street.  While there, I looked to my left at the Blessing Box that a church operates and a 4-pack of pudding cups was right there in the front of the box.

I was at a place where I could have easily turned left into the parking lot, parked and gotten myself a pudding cup.

Maybe I would just take 1 of the 4-pack, or maybe I’d just take all 4, because seriously, who would want to pick up an incomplete pudding pack set.

Seriously, a pudding cup actually sounded pretty good right then.

I like pudding.

Yes, I know … these blessing boxes are there for those that “need” it, not for those that could use a good pudding cup and the box was convenient.   At this particular point in my life, I have the financial means to go to a store and get my own pudding 4-pack.

As I’ve stated in previous posts, I’m a grown ass man.

But, if I did that, would that make me a bad person?

Would this one act make me an overall bad person?

*Side Note 1 – I did not stop.  I ignored the pudding urge.

Now, if I had seen a package of plastic spoons in the box …….
