When Evolution Goes Wrong
I want to apologize in advance for those that might be either grossed out or highly offended. But….. sometimes when I’m working my mind wanders off to strange places. *Side Note 1 – we’ve been over this I understand evolution and I understand that we as a species have evolved. But with all the … Continue reading When Evolution Goes Wrong
In Case You Didn’t Know – Thanksgiving Edition
I am enjoying Thanksgiving a lot this year. THIS YEAR – we’re not doing anything special. We do have to get dressed (eventually) as we are going out to dinner. *Side Note 1 – Is it technically dinner if it’s at 2:00 in the early afternoon? But anyway. We decided as a family not … Continue reading In Case You Didn’t Know – Thanksgiving Edition
The “21-Second Rule”
You’ve all heard of the 5-Second Rule. You know, the rule that says if you drop a piece of food on the floor, you have 5 seconds to pick it up. Right? Who Did That:
I salute American Exceptionalism. But It’s not limited to American – somethings are universal and many things I thought it might have been created/invented in America, nope, they were not. I’ll number things to make it easier … Continue reading The Year That Was – 1965

Our oldest daughter turned 18 in March, Graduated High School in June, had her graduation rager in July and … Continue reading Words to Kate
Possessions
I know most of my posts are on the humorous side and some are even a bit absurd. I might take a different approach and talk about something a bit more serious. This might be a bit lengthy, but it’s something I am writing more for me. But you’re welcome to read. Something happened recently. … Continue reading Possessions
Behind Every Great Man (Part 1)
….is a great woman. That was from Scott Fitzgerald, author of The Great Gatsby. And while it could not be more true, it could also be taken as very offensive. Who says a woman has to be behind a so-called “Great Man”? See, I think I’m a great man. And yes, I do have great … Continue reading Behind Every Great Man (Part 1)
(Just) A Few Good Men
People pass through our lives. Some leave a lasting impression, while other just irritate us and get out. But many times we remember people fondly and are sad upon their passing. I often see guys who’ve passed that were younger than me, who did great things, yet who left behind a legacy. Am I am … Continue reading (Just) A Few Good Men
